Why I created Sally’s Kitchen Club
Hi, I’m Sally, the creator behind Eight Forest Lane. I’ve been dairy free for over 10 years, ever since I found out at 21 that lactose was behind years of feeling unwell. What started as a restriction turned into a mission: to prove that dairy free cooking could be just as delicious, comforting, and accessible as anything else.
I started Eight Forest Lane back in 2014, and in 2023 I made the leap to do it full time. Every single recipe on this site has been tested, photographed, and eaten by me. I will never share something I don’t 100% believe in.
I created Sally’s Kitchen Club because I wanted to offer something more to the people who come back to this site again and again. A calmer, ad-free experience. Exclusive recipes. And eventually, a whole lot more. This is just the beginning, and I’d love for you to be part of it from day one.
