That’s right, it’s time again to say goodbye to another year and take a look back over what you’ve been loving the most on Eight Forest Lane this year.
Its that time again (how, what!) when we get to do one of my favourite things which is looking back over the last 12 months and seeing what have been the most popular recipes for the year. This list is derived based on most pageviews from January 1st until now.
This is always my favourite post to put together because I just love seeing if my favourite recipes are your favourites and how the trends change over the years. If you’re interested you can take a look back over the 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 lists!

4. Vegan Sticky Date Pudding with Caramel Sauce

3. One Pot Spicy Sausage Pasta
After making it’s top 10 list debut last year, I’m so excited to see this humble pasta makes it’s way to the number 3 spot this year! 2. Vegetable Curry Pies
After taking out the number 2 spot for the last year, we have a new player topping the charts this year. But I am still happy to see these veggie pies sitting high on this list at number 2. They truly are super delicious and a must make! Get the recipe for these vegetable curry pies.
1. Slow Cooked Curried Sausages
This recipe was published in 2021 and featured in the number 10 top spot last year and has made it’s way through to take out number 1 for 2022! I am always surprised to see it constantly sitting at the top in my analytics each month but to be honest I’m not really that surprised because this is classic, delicious family friendly comfort food.
