These chicken bacon ranch wraps are the ultimate easy lunch idea! They are quick to make with rotisserie chicken, crispy bacon, and a creamy dairy free ranch dressing together in a soft tortilla wrap. Perfect for work from home lunches, school lunchboxes, weekend picnics, or even a quick weeknight dinner.

If you’re anything like me, lunch can feel like a struggle. I swear it’s the hardest meal of the day as even though I work from home, by the time lunch comes around I need something fast, but I don’t want to waste a meal on something that I won’t actually enjoy (hey, I love food way too much for that!).

That’s where this chicken bacon ranch wrap comes in as it’s full of flavour, you can make it in minutes, and it will actually keep you full all afternoon.

What makes this wrap so delicious is of course the sauce! I’m using my homemade ranch dressing which you can meal prep at the start of the week. It elevates this chicken and bacon wrap to something you’ll actually look forward to eating.

While I do like these wraps for an easy work from home workday lunch, they are also great for a weekend lunch served up in the centre of the table for people to grab, or you can pack them into lunchboxes for school, work or even on a hike.

They even make a fantastic quick and easy dinner option for those nights when you want something easy and don’t feel like cooking.

Key Ingredients

This chicken bacon ranch wrap contains simple ingredients but you can be flexible based on what you have or what you like.

All ingredients needed to make chicken bacon ranch wraps laid out in bowls.

Note all ingredients and their quantities are laid out in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

  • Cooked chicken – what makes this wrap super easy is using chopped rotisserie chicken. You can also use leftover air fryer roast chicken or poached chicken instead.
  • Bacon – use your favourite here. I am using middle bacon but I often like to use streaky bacon as it goes extra crispy.
  • Ranch dressing – I’m using homemade dairy free ranch otherwise you can use store bought instead for an even easier version.
  • Tortilla wraps – I’m using large tortilla wraps for these. I love the low carb / high protein wraps to make this a more nutritious lunch, but use any you like.
  • Lettuce – I like cos or iceberg lettuce for extra crunch in these wraps.
  • Avocado – a few slices of creamy avo pairs so well with the chicken and bacon combo in this wrap.

💡 Customise it! Add tomato slices, cucumber, shredded carrot, or whatever salad veggies you have in the fridge. You can also swap the chicken for my air fryer chicken tenders for a crispy chicken bacon ranch wrap variation.

Step-By-Step Instructions

For this recipe, we’re starting by cooking the bacon so it’s nice and crispy. Once that’s done you can set it aside to drain on a paper towel while you chop your chicken and slice the avocado.

If you’re making the homemade ranch, you can do that now as well before moving onto assembling.

Grab a large flour tortilla and heat it slightly in the microwave, on the stove, or in a sandwich press so that it’s more pliable.

Place some lettuce, followed by the chopped chicken and cooked bacon in the centre of the wrap. Top with a drizzle of ranch dressing and the sliced avocado.

Adding the fillings to the wrap.
Drizzling the sauce over the wrap fillings.

👉Tip! Don’t go overboard with the ranch inside the wrap. If it’s too wet it will be difficult to wrap tightly and may fall apart. Instead, serve the wrap with a side of extra sauce for dunking!

Fold the wrap by first folding in the sides then rolling it up away from you like a burrito. Once you have your wrap, you can optionally toast it in the sandwich press or in a frying pan on the stove until it’s golden.

To serve, cut the wrap in half and place on a plate with extra ranch dressing for dunking.

Recipe FAQs

Can I make this chicken wrap spicy?

Yes! Simply add some hot sauce like Franks alongside your ranch for a delicious spicy version of this chicken and bacon ranch wrap.

How do I store these wraps?

You can store these wraps in the refrigerator wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminium foil.

If you’re wanting to keep them for more than 24 hours, leave off the ranch dressing as this can make the wrap soggy. If you leave the dressing off, the wraps will last an extra day in the fridge.
