Top 10 Recipes of 2024

As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time again to say goodbye to another year and take a look back over what you’ve been loving the most on Eight Forest Lane this year.

This is one of my favourite posts to write every year as it gives me a chance to really dive in and reflect on what you, my very important readers, have been loving this year and also compare this to previous years.

This list is determined based on most pageviews over the calendar year as tracked in Google analytics.

2024 is a really special year for me as it’s one that has seen significant increase in the number of people visiting this site and making my recipes as I stepped into the role of full-time blogger and experienced that growth that came along with more time spent working on Eight Forest Lane.

I am so grateful to be able to call this my job, so without further ramblings, let’s get into the recipes that make up the most popular recipes of 2024 as determined by YOU!

This year my sausage rolls recipe really took off and it was so great to see you making and enjoying these. I've been making this recipe for so long and it's an old favourite so it's amazing to see it come away with the top spot for 2024!

This recipe for classic curried sausages has been bumped down to number two this year after a solid stint at number one for the past two years. So while it may have dropped a place in this list, it's still clear to see it's a family favourite in your homes as well.

This is one of those recipes I made just because I really wanted it (chicken schnitzel may be my favourite food!) so I always love it when you're on the same page and love it as much as me. If you have an air fryer, definitely make this if you haven't already.

Interestingly, this is the only sweet recipe making the top 10 in 2024! I truly believe that you need a good vanilla cupcake recipe in your back pocket for all those celebrations and this one has been mine for years and I love hearing your stories of making these for your family events.

If you found my website through Pinterest this year, chances are it's because of this recipe! It was only published in 2024 and it quickly became one of the top recipes on my site. It so simple but the perfect snack – I've lost count how many times I've made them myself this year!

And finally, number 10 is a recipe that has been on my site for a few years, but in 2024 got a full update and then absolutely took off. This is one of my favourite dinner recipes on the site so I am glad so many of your are also making it now. If you haven't already, put this on your list for 2025!
